Hello and pleased to meet you, a brief introduction or a woof or two just to welcome you to my page, that my new companion has set up for me, you must forgive simple spelling mistakes, well I’m even having trouble piddling right, seems every time I have a piddle I get lifted out of my nice warm home and put down on a cold sometimes wet, and cold did I say that already?
Well you have to forgive me after all I’m only a dog, well actually I’m only a puppy of the grand old age of 9 weeks, but as I get older, I’m sure my companion who I named Aruff will show me the ropes.
How did it all start well lets just wind back the clock about a week ago, there I was minding my own business playing with my brother and sisters happily with mum and gran sitting watching in the background.
So begins my long journey to my new forever home, from Yorkshire to Essex all in one day Grrrr, wiggling and woofing and a pee stop between there and here, Aunt Nicky from time to time smiles at me, I’m not that mad or even confused, you see I’m a Tibetan Terrier and I don’t faze to much, but still I have humans for companions now, I do miss my siblings but there’s a wonderment in meeting new siblings mummy and daddy.
I think she’s my new mummy tells me daddy waiting at home ready to welcome me, all I can say is woof *I need a pee!* for effin sakes, that’s how us Yorkshire men talk!
What feels like forever, we slow and arrive at my new home, and as sure as she said the new daddy is standing on the path waiting for me, I’m a little scared I never seen so many new faces before, it’s all a bit strange, well all I can do is say hello and pee on the floor, but least they smile and make excuses for my peeing, yeah ok its totally like new but did you show me the garden? No so your front room is my peeing palace, live with it!
Well over the next few days daddy so he calls himself and if I’m right in my judgement, he’s kind of nice, there is so much for me to play with, when I don’t use the floor as a pee post, not that I can cock my leg, I’m only 8weeks old after all, but this place is nice, its got a massive garden which I have all to myself, I yet to meet any other dogs, I’m told that I need my injections oh! My, And did I yell when I got my jab and chip yesterday, well it worked I got my treats all night, though I must admit I’m a little tired after all the fuss at the vets.
The vet seems to think I’m a bit of a chewer, darn right I am, thought daddy thinks this is cute, I bet after a few months of finger and toe nibbling it might get on his nerves a little, he keeps saying Puppy classes? What the hell is that? But least he smiles when he says it, time will tell what this new fangled thing is.
What’s really nice is I substituted one family for another, I can sleep on the bed with my new parents but one night I did get into a really deep sleep and peed myself, I was so embarrassed, I tried to hide, mummy and daddy just cleaned up the bed lucky they have something called a waterproof blanket on top, daddy had to wash me down, which was nice but I cant smell my sisters and brothers anymore, well I can but only from Frog”
Well got to dash got toes to lick and chew, see you all later, agent Obi out for now woof!
Obi, you are very cute. I think I'll follow you around. Be warned that I'll be stopping to hug the trees by which you pee (or worse).
